Recipe: Butter-Rum Coffee

This butter-rum coffee will warm you up on a cold winter day and either help you start the weekend or cap off a cozy evening.  The butterscotch schnapps lends a sweet flavor. Be careful though – you just might forget that this is an “adult beverage.”

Ingredients:
1 shot butterscotch schnapps
1 shot vanilla rum
1/2 shot Irish Cream
Prepared Coffee
Whipped topping

Directions:

  1. To a coffee mug add butterscotch schnapps, rum, Irish cream and your favorite preparred coffee.
  2. Top with whipped topping.
  3. Serve.

Food Mingle Blog Alternatives and Substitutions:

  • Be sure to drink up that cream quickly, so that it doesn’t curdle.
