Recipe: Pineapple and Mint-Infused Water

Pineapples impart a vibrant tropical flavor that balances the tastes of sweet and tart. Did you know that pineapples are second only to bananas as America’s favorite tropical fruit? (whfoods.com)

Ingredients
1/4 pineapple, peeled and cut into triangles
8 to 10 mint leaves
8 cups water

Directions

  1. Place 8 cups water in a pitcher or large bowl.
  2. Add pineapple and mint leaves.
  3. Refrigerate at least 3 hours before using.
  4. Keep refrigerated up to 2 days.
  5. Strain before serving.
